Not optimistic but I'm just happy any time I can watch on something better than an internet stream. Just hope Strock shows development. Hope it's competitive until the 4th at least.

Just read Carducci's blog and he said there are multiple injuries on the O Line. This means that DL Elias Sayre will move to the O Line. He checks in at a whopping 245 lbs.

Strock is bad and this team is unwatchable. Good night.

Welcome back Colin Reardon. He doubled our total yardage on his first play.

We're just plain terrible at QB. Strock or Reardon is about as arguable at Kasich or Fitzgerald.

Nice to see signs of life from Reardon. In Strock's defense, there were several drops while he was in there. His ball placement wasn't great though.

I thought I was gonna puke when the announcers said Haynes said 2012 was fools gold and there was a lot of problems to fix. I have kept quiet while watching this crap this year but no longer. My son was an offensive lineman on that team and they were well coached and a strong unit. If Haynes claims they are weak now and have a long way to go then it is his own strength coach he hired to blame. When coach Davis (the strength coach under Hazell) left this was a strong football team! I am tired of Haynes excuses, this is a poorly coached football team you can just tell. I think there is decent young talent but am tired of the excuses. We were all devastated by the passing of Jason Bitsko and I think it took its toll by I don't wanna here about how 2012 was a fluke, That team was talented but well coach. A MAC school ranked No. 17 in the country at one time was no Fools gold!!

I'd have to hear his exact quote to really judge. If he's saying that team was fools gold, then he's dead wrong. That team was legit. If he's saying that season made the program fools gold, then I agree. The stars aligned that season. The O line, the backs, Keith's game management skills, the defenses ability to create turnovers, and of course the coaching. After that year, 2 NFL O lineman were gone, Keith was gone, Archer and Durham weren't the same, several key defenders were gone, and the coaches were gone. Despite coming off an amazing season, the program wasn't any better off than it had been for decades.

Another huge drop. It should be 20-14 right now if he holds on to that...

I think you misunderstood him. He didn't say it was a fluke. I think he means because that team was so good, it didn't mean the program was fine. A lot of talent left after that season. Last year's team was not even close to having the same kind of talent and this year, there are just too many players getting their first taste of college action. Judge Haynes on next season. If we aren't measurably better, I can understand folks getting antsy.

But I don't think he was criticizing the '12 team.
