MTPiKAPP, I noticed you didn't include the fact that LA Tech was playing at Auburn and OU while Marshall was playing at Rhode Island and at MAC schools. And don 't say it doesn't matter. It matters.

I didn't include any of your losses, just the combined records of the teams you've beaten and the combined records of the FBS teams Marshall has beaten. How does having played OU and Auburn make you quantifiably better? Or how does Marshall having not played them make them quantifiably worse?

It absolutely matters, little brother. It's a very material difference in the two schedules that drastically affects the outcome of one teams season versus the others. All things being equal, you don't think a team suffers more injuries and has a much more physical game against TOP 5 teams like Auburn and OU than they do against a Rhode Island, Ohio and the MAC schools? This is EXACTLY the challenge your big brother school is facing right now in the national polls and media, where its' having trouble garnering respect. That's a fact and you know it.

I couldn't care less where they are ranked or why they are or aaren't getting national respect. For the purposes of comparing Marshall to La Tech, your two P5 games are irrelevant.
