And we needed Villanova to miss a fg as time expired to win in double OT in the Carrier Dome. Shafer will get a 3rd year but we need to get some talent and depth in the program. What a terrible season this team just couldn't get the offense together and Shafer has made alot of coaching blunders as well.03-puke

Ouch. So if it wasn't for a missed chip shot FG from Nova it would have been a winless home slate. Is 1-5 the worst home record in program history?

they were also decimated by injuries at key spots along ol,qb,CB and WR. They people playing gave everything they had but with injuries we were forced to play lots of young players which leads to mistakes which turn into losses. Next year should be better as long as ACC office doesn't put Louisville, fsu and Clemson all within a month of one another like this year after a 3-1 non conference slate

I have to admit, some were pretty bizarre looking as were the Gray ones We had vs FSU.01-wingedeagle

Since 1980 it's tied for second worst. It's only the fourth time since then that we've finished with one win at home. In 2007 we went 1-6 at home, making that the worst in Carrier Dome history. I'd assume it's also the worst in program history.

We went 0-6-1 at home back in 1892. 03-nutkick

Worst since 2007, eh? So Scott Shafer = Greg Robinson!

Not even close. Shafer took over a bowl team and went to a bowl the next season. Robinson took over a bowl team and won one game the next season. At least Shafer had a legit excuse with all the injuries plaguing this team. Starting from week one, they have had at least 4 starters on offense out, and the last couple of weeks six offensive starters have been injured.
