Utah Kaelin Clay
is an idiot and should be cut from the team

http://www.sbnation.com/lookit/2014/11/8...r-100-plus

this is not the first time this moron has done something like this and he also did the Heisman pose in the Big House earlier this year

hope he can still do it when he is handing off a bag of fries from the drive thru window in the future what an fool he has possibly cost his team way more than a win over a top 5 team it could be a division championship and maybe more 03-lmfao03-drunk03-nutkick04-chairshot

On sports center they pointed out that the Eagle who did the same thing against the Cowboys 5 or 6 years ago-went to the same HS as Clay in Long Beach.

DeSean Jackson? Also the Tyron Matthieu did the same thing in an SEC championship

A few years ago that Honey Badger guy from LSU did this but the ref didn't call it.

The pic below isn't the play I remember so it looks like he did it more than once.

Wrong Way Riegels, who took a fumble the length of the field to give the other team a safety in the 1929 Rose Bowl (His Cal team lost 8-7 to Georgia Tech), was also born in California.

Right. DeSean Jackson's drop on the left, Kaelin Clay's drop on the right here...

I cannot feel sorry for the player. Wait to celebrate until you actually make it in the end zone or you could just hand the ball to the ref. It is not rocket science.

I don't feel sorry for a showboat getting his comeuppance. That's Darwinian justice.

I DO feel sorry for people who don't know relatively obscure rules when they're thrown on the field in situations they're normally not in (like Leon Lett going for ball after a blocked field goal, when that's the first field goal block play he's ever been in on for his entire life).

Gee, I guess you never did anything knuckleheaded when you were 19? Caught in the moment and didn't finish the play. What is your excuse for this idiotic diatribe?

If they are kids, as you say, then they don't need to be paid to play an amateur sport as some suggest.

I don't need an excuse for it

he was the idiot that dropped the ball before he crossed the goal line so that he could do his stupid dance on national TV and ended up having a 14 point swing for his team in their biggest game of the year

when I did something stupid at 19 I did not do it where the outcome effected 100+ other teammates nor did I do it so that I could make an ass of myself on national TV while the other team was busy picking up the ball and running it back for a touchdown

he wanted the attention and he ask for the attention and now he is getting it.....he should suck it up and accept that it is attention calling him a fool

anyone that accepts that his actions were anything other than that of a selfish fool is also a fool

+100

If the "kids" do get paid as some misguided souls wish, then I do not want to hear any sympathy for dropped passes or shanked kicks. They are professionals paid to do a job.

This is not a fumble or interception or a penalty. This is the most basic thing in football that any 6 year old knows. Instead he was showboating.

RE: Utah Kaelin Clay
he may be a kid, but he should know better. This isnt pop warner or even high school. This is elite college FB. These kids are the best of the best (even the ones that sit on the bench). If these kids want to showboat they should be prepared to face the criticism and consequences of their actions when their showboating cost their teams and teammates.
