John Green was co-captain his senior year. He played for Bobby Nichols in the early 80's. He sure had a great shot.

You are right way to you RIP a great shooter adn a very scrappy player loved watching him play.

John Green is #30 on Toledo's 1980-81 MAC Championship team.

He had been working for a long time in commercial real estate when I was still living in Toledo. Not much information in the obituary about him - anybody know if he was still working in real estate? Got pretty tough in that business following the financial crisis in '08/'09.

Greene didn't look much like a D1 player physically but he had a sweet stroke. Way too young.

I had to listen to a lot of games on the radio when he was playing. When he got hot, he was hitting 'em as soon as the ball got across the half court line - according to Jerry Kiel...
