Since a ranked West Virginia got clobbered by an unranked Texas and Marshall annihilated our brothers at Southern Miss; what's the Committee's excuse going to be to ignore the Thundering Herd this coming week?

The Horns will move into the top 15 for such an impressive win.

I'm pretty sure if you evaluate perceived "strength of schedule" based on the sum total of the media contract value of the teams you beat (regardless of merit on the field) then you will come pretty close to the bull the committee is coming up with. (oh, and don't penalize for losses)

I call this "strength of TV schedule", and it really explains a lot of the (intentional or unintentional) bias of the committee toward big name and high visibility conference teams.

Follow the money folks. That is true in politics and business. ESPN has turned college sports into a business. The politics will follow the highest revenues. There will always be a movement to separate the haves from the have-nots and when they are through with us, the Power 5 will turn on each other.

The thundering turd will be 24th this week. I have to say Marsha has a lot of talent. I was very impressed Cato. Should be a test this with against Rice but I expect Marshall to win.

I really like that, owl at the moon.

Sums it up quite well.

Thundering turd, really? Do you plan to go to La Tech after you graduate high school in 2020? What am I saying, you're too busy hunting gators in the bayou with Troy to actually attend school. Get those tags filled.
