Congrats to WKU

well not tonight... I guess next week against UNT for bowl eligibility!

That was a gut punch. One bad play call and one badly executed pass away from bowl eligibility. Oh well, next week.

I'm surprised we won. I was expecting UTEP to make a miracle play and pull this one out in OT.
Running game was stiffled all afternoon but Doughty made some big plays and the D actually played well in the second half. Wonderful Terry made a huge play with the pick 6.
UTEP dominated the TOP, this makes 3 games I remember where we only had the ball for 23 minutes.

Bad news for my Cadets. WKU will be hungry for the bowl game now, instead of being depressed at the dashing of their dreams.

Congrats to WKU. You have a great shot at bowl eligibility now. UTEP has to take care of business at home to get to a bowl so big games for both teams next week. Helluva QB you have there.

This was the only game I picked wrong this week, yes I picked unt. I guess WKU did have a bad game against Tech, because UTEP looked better than WKU. After the game, Not impressed with UTEPs Qb which was the main reason for the lost. I hope both of you to get bowl eligible.

He hurt his knee at the end of last week's game (when it was already decided). Kinda pisses me off because that's the second week he left a game that he had no business being in in the first place

It's what I feared. I said early in the season that he was too small to be used that much.

Also, A WKU player died the day before the LA Tech game. Apparently he was more of a walk-on or didn't get to play much, but still can lead to an emotional let down.

Don't judge the UTEP fan base by this guy. Very few Miners like him, he's just a windbag. I like his passion though but he needs to take some prozac. LOL

if AJ remains healthy over the next 1/2 yrs (may opt out early....just guessing), I expect to see him on Sunday.....you can scheme with his moves and an OL.....he's fun to watch....

OBVIOUS.The interception 90 yard pick-6 by wonderful terry was the play of the game-otherwise Miners win.Way to go WKU on homecoming! (sidenote-UTEP had no cool weather gear on the sidelines).
