UTSA @ Rice
Rice up 10-0 early.

My soul hurts. I had dreams of attending our first bowl game.

Watched UTSA against Houston and Arizona. First time seeing them since those early games. They look nothing close to that.

Even for a neutral observer, it's pretty hard to watch UTSA right now. I can only imagine how hard it would be if I was a fan.

Agree. UTSA is a shell of a team. Injuries and mental toughness have derailed this year.

Gotta take the good with the bad right? I wasn't upset we had a bye last week. Our offensive is very difficult to watch.

No kidding. If only the offense can wake up. Our defense is really good.

You're talking to a UTEP fan. If I couldn't take the bad, I would have died of cirrhosis by now.

I've watched the whole game, can't believe how bad UTSA is on offense. You guys would be better served to just go big and try to run up the middle every play with play action to a tight end once every ten plays or so.

Rice finally punches one in again after a couple quarters of stout UTSA defense.
17-0 Owls.

Rice's defense has been playing very well lately.

TD pass for UTSA. A field goal at the end of the 1st half would have been important right about now. 17-7 Rice with 11 minutes to go.

RE: UTSA @ Rice
UTSA would be so much better with a solid QB. They have a good team other than that.

The freshman qb screwed it up by letting the clock go to zero with 7 seconds to go. They could have gotten at least 3. Tsk.

Not sure about that officiating crew. Three tripping penalties in a 5 minute span? Many personal fouls. No love between Rice and UTSA. This rivalry looks on.

Props to UTSA for bringing many visiting fans.

The oc should have never called for a running play with 7 seconds to go. Should have thrown a quick pass into the end zone and make sure you have some time left. Running plays take too much time. Bad call by the oc.

Not Rice's best game on offense, but a solid performance by the defense. Tough game next week.

Rice' last 3 games against Marshall, UTEP, La. Tech will really tell where they're at. The past 7 games have all been against teams rated 100 or worse.

RE: UTSA @ Rice
Rice seems to be peaking at the right time. Should be a great game next week. Rice killed MU last yr., both mentally and physically. Hope for a different outcome this season but if not I won't hate the world too much if Rice is vindicated as being the best team in CUSA the last couple yrs., they've got a great team and I just love their coaching staff. Hope Bailiff stays longterm, he's a keeper.
