That was about the most evenly matched teams I have seen in a long time. Look at the stats and you will see how even it was.

Just goes to show you how impressive the character of the two teams is. It's been a long time since we were able to go toe to toe with a really sound football team and escape with a win.

Temple and SMU are our "good" rivals in this league IMHO.

Temple is a legitimately good team with one of the toughest defenses we've seen this year. I was shocked by how aggressive and fast your defensive line played, as they completely shut down our running game. I never expected that to happen, but now I'm a believer.

Hope you guys whip Penn State and win out the remainder of the season. Your fans deserve a good bowl game.

I always liked Temple when Cheney was the coach. I've never been to Philly, but I want to go bad. Hopefully in the future.
