If it made sense maybe. We don't have any history of taking transfers with major issues from other schools. Marshall took Randy Moss years ago as a better example.
There would be a zero chance of him ever coming to ucf even if he does make positive comments about us.

Everybody is cry, "Ohh poor UAB. They might have to close down their football program because they can't afford to pay their players".
In walks Jameis Winston. Carrying a solution, already in beta testing, and you're all ready to crucify him. Shame on all of you.

They haven't already shut the program down?

I think most people on this board have consciences. If you all are like me, you also have a loyalty, a draw towards your alma mater or your favorite program or university that feels so strong, it's essentially a part of what makes you, you. I am that way with Florida State. My parents met there as students in the library in the 70's, making my existence possible. My aunt, my cousins, and my wife's cousin graduated from FSU. It is very much a family thing, and I have pulled forFSU for as long as I can remember. It feels just automatic to pull for FSU.
But there is that conscience thing. I do not believe in win at all costs. I feel more disgusted and embarrassed by Winston, and not to mention Karlos Williams and these other d-bags who think it's okay to do whatever they want with women, than I am celebratory for their great on the field accomplishments. Worse yet, the response by Fisher and university leaders has been soft. Not just that, they are essentially enabling these guys to embarrass anyone who cares about the university's dignity.
I don't think I have it in me to hate FSU. They are a part of what makes me, me, even though I didn't go there. They are identified with my last name. But regardless of how well they are doing on the field, and I woild be lying if I said I am not gkad they are winning, I would feel even better if Winston could get kicked off the team. Get a disciplinarian like Charlie Strong to clean house and take a stand that FSU has no time for the kind of crap that is going on. Until then, I am just going to be doing this...
I appreciate level headed Alumni who can actually acknowledge when their school does wrong and admonish it... we have a particular school in our conference that has a difficult time with that.
The sad part is that I think FSU could win clean and be a leader in the ACC for how things should be done. Its not like they need to cheat or allow scumbags on their field in order to win. Their already in the most talent dense state per capita and get the majority of the 4 and 5 star recruits.
Where my MAIN issue comes with FSU is Fishers support. He has blindly supported Winston to the point of making himself look less credible and the saddest part is he will be rewarded by signing even more recruits who want someone who will cover up their screw ups. They just got another 5 start to commit to them and his main reason was the way that Fisher supported Winston. That to me says alot about a culture that has become so turned around that they praise the very actions that should be admonished.
Fisher makes me look at a coach like Charlie Strong and think he is a god. That man bounced more talent out of Texas then ive ever seen because he sets the standard and you damn well better live by it. I questioned him for employing Hurt after it was proven he was involved in the cheating scandal at UCF but he has redeemed himself and I think should be set as a model for how a program should be run.

Hurt was involved at the scandal at Miami not UCF. At least get your facts right when attacking UCF.

Ha, I dont need to attack UCF they do enough to themselves. Funny part is I meant to put in Miami... I guess cheating and UCF just go so well together... I digress.
but yes, I always though that Strong was a character man and it bothered me that Hurt was taken and kept even knowing that his involvement was proven. I do think it is one reason he wasnt taken to Texas.... I do wonder who Miami pays off to stay alive. Its like they have 9 lives... or is it just an ACC thing?

There are rumors that once the heat dies down Strong is going to pick him back up.
