To me, Hawkins has become the Pete Gillan of football announcers. He's rough around the edges but fairly insightful. If you pay attention he can be very funny. I loved his comment during the Tulsa game after Tulsa made a a bad decision and he said they hid behind the chainsaws instead of getting in the running car!

I've enjoyed these guys during both of the last two game broadcasts. So much better than Wolovision!!

I thought they were Temple's announcers. Total homers. They seemed shocked when we started our momemtum.

I think you are being overly sensitive. I didnt think they were one-sided. They saw a good performance out of us last week. Having said that, I was playing catch-up on the DVR and skipped some of the in-between-plays comments.

+1 I thought they were ok, they were pretty complimentary of the team. Hawkins had a few good insights, didn't really hear anything out of line. To be fair, there were several times where they were talking but I drowned them out yelling at some of our boneheaded plays and our OC....

Overall, I give them a C. Which is still better than Wolo, who has never risen above a C grade. I will give Wolo credit for his FG call, he at least sounded excited!!!

Yeah I bet those announcers were really passionate about Temple football. Good call guys.
