Don't sleep on Cincinnati

CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati freshman kicker Andrew Gantz (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville) was named one of 20 semifinalists for the 2014 Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award presented by the Orange Bowl, which recognizes the nation's best kicker, the Palm Beach County Sports Commission announced Thursday.

I think our kicker is on the list. He was a finalist last year as a Freshman.

So we're already naming the award after him? Nice!

I am sure he would prefer being on the Groza award list

I was in the middle of posting an almost identical comment when I looked up and saw your post, BearcatMan. If it's 60% through his freshman year and they've already renamed the award for him, he must be a heck of a placekicker!! :)
