Well, I think the people who hired Donnie are gone anyway.

I think the college board needs to do a full, UAB-style review of its plans. What is USM's niche? What is State's niche? Etc. I don't expect USM to be the best in every area. I just wish that the state would deploy USM and all of its assets in a way that allows people to succeed. Sounds idealistic, but I actually feel like they did this pretty effectively until about 2000.

FWIW, Marshall got hammered for something very similar in 2001. If this is true, expect huge sanctions. The more I read it, the more it sounds just like Marshall's case.
