Good Win and outlook for this year!!
03-cloud9 the huskies are 7-2!! I know its not pretty but hey the young guys are getting it done. I'm thinking this team will be in full gear against Toledo and hopefully ride all momentum into the rest of the season.

I also want to add that this was a transition year for NIU. Not olny did they have to replace Lynch but that had to replace most of the defens .

Let's also not forget Lewis is out and you can tell akeem is not close to being 100% these are two of the most dynamic offensive players on the team.

Let's be happy and to be 7-2 is pretty impressive. Not many programs can do what NIU has done since 2010!!!

Ugly at times, but a very good win for NIU. Coaching staff deserves some credit for a season that looked like the wheels were coming off, maintaining this thing somehow. Best case scenario for NIU is that UT wins out besides the NIU game, then hopefully NIU can go 2-0 in the next 2 and make the last game vs WMU an important game only for NIU and not WMU since they would lose a UT tie-break. Im sure WMU would be motivated to spoil NIU's season, but I would much rather that they are not playing for a MACC spot. You have to imagine Waldo would be a very very very tough place to get a win if its for a MACC spot.

So you are saying that the best scenario is for NIU to win the rest of their games. I can't argue with that.

Well obviously that, and for Toledo to beat BG, which will be a hard thing to root for Toledo

Why would we care about Toledo vs BGSU? BGSU will likely wrap up the East next week vs Kent st anyways. Heck I would rather see Toledo lose to BGSU.

I always enjoy a Toledo loss.

My only thinking was if Toledo beat BG that would effectively eliminate WMU most likely. I would like our chances going into Kalamazoo better if WMU didn't have a championship to play for. The odds of that happening are increased with UT winning out I believe.
