Imagine the shitstorm when the real, long-term, big-money donors focused on basketball (the ones whose loyalty is rooted in the days of Gene...or even Gene himself) realize we failed at the A-10 begging - which is guaranteed - and land in the Big South or A-Sun. True, some of those folks resent football today, but getting us from CUSA to the gutter is going to unleash repercussions I'm not sure our athletic dept OR administration (possibly even BOT) has witnessed before. Mackin surely is gone regardless. Reid Adair himself might not even survive that...
