RE: Carson changes party registration to Republican
He'll run. I don't know much about him right now, but he hasn't done / said anything stupid, so I'd say he has as good a chance of getting the nomination as anyone else. He's obviously an intelligent, well spoken guy.

Seems like the kind of guy that would make for an attractive VP selection even if he doesn't win the nomination though.

I just watched several interviews with him. He seems like a very reasonable, level-headed guy.

I hope he runs. He would make a compelling candidate.

I'm still not a fan of Carson's oppositional (He's not exactly against the 2nd amendment, but he's not entirely for it) stance on the 2nd amendment.

I still say he would be much better in the Cabinet than as an actual candidate. But if he brings in more Conservative voters, I can't say that's a bad thing.

He has a message that is positive, inspirational, true, and beneficial to both the GOP and to the country overall.

When it's all said and done, I don't believe he will ever be President of the United States. But good for him if he's willing to give it a shot.
