Basketball Coaches' Show
Coach K was on the show tonight with Campbell in Kent. A couple of interesting statements: Zach Garber the most improved player; Jordan Lauf has become a very good outside shooter. Good news.

RE: Basketball Coaches' Show
If we get 10-12 solid defensive minutes, 4-8 pts per game and 4 rbs from Garber it would be gravy.

Ha. Both+1. Last year he gave us space minutes. He pretty much just took up space.

Credible job for a frosh big ls st year. He was not Nathan Boothe but bigs, especially MAC bigs, take time to develop.

Witherspoon gave us space minutes last year as well. As in reaching outer space on some of his dunks.

I must be in the minority but I thought Garber improved greatly as the season progressed...actually thinking about it I felt like he was the most improved player from the first game to the last game last season.

RE: Basketball Coaches' Show
Nobody will disagree that he has a huge up side and no one really expected him to light up the conference last year. That being said even a minimal contribution from him might be the piece that gets us another championship. Not hating on the kid, but he did look lost at times and nobody can claim he was an option on offense. Can't wait to see his improvement this season.
