He had two catches last week, more than anyone except for McElfresh. We've thrown a combined 26 passes in the last two games because running it up the middle has worked.

This game, if ULM blitzes as much as they usually do, screen passes will surely be called.

RE: ULM @ App State, Game Week Thread
Was just listening to Todd Berry's presser and when asked about how ULM has prepared for the potential weather in Boone he stated that you really can't prepare too much for the weather but you just have your team ready to go and "just put the ball down and play". Gotta love his attitude. "Put the Ball Down and Play" would make a pretty good slogan.

That said, "Go Apps".05-mafia

Weather update:

Friday 11/7- High 41, Low 29...40 percent chance of snow, winds NW at 19 mph.

Saturday 11/8- High 51, Low 35...0 percent chance of snow/rain, winds SSW at 9 mph.

Looks like the snow should be melted off and winds calmed down by game time. As always the weather could change quickly.

While some may classify me as one (I was not happy the way his "retirement" was handled), but the University has done it's due diligence to settle the "back lash". We had Jerry Moore Day for the game against USA, Charlie CORN Cobb has left the school, and there is even a new chancellor. The only faces they will recognize are the fans who they used to share season tickets/tailgates with, Scott Satterfield and the black and gold jerseys. If they are still holding out for whatever their reasons are at this point, then to hell with em.

There are some JM loyalists out there who steadfastly refuse to believe any version of the story other than Coach Moore's. The JM Day didn't appease them and I honestly think anything short of engraving Jerry's face into the granite of Howard's Knob will do. Even after emails from Cobb & Chancellor Peacock released under FOIA clearly showed that not to be the case. The only aspect of Coach Moore's dismissal I did not agree with was Cobb dragging him out of church to hand him his walking papers. But on the other hand, I can understand how Peacock and Cobb could be very upset when Coach Moore failed to uphold his end of the agreement and announce his retirement following the Illinois State game. Coach Moore knew 2012 was his last year and purposely chose to kept it quiet. He said he didn't want it to be about him, but I think coach was convinced he could squeeze one more year out of Charlie with a playoff season. The reality is Coach Moore forced the university's hand by being so adamant in wanting nothing to do with the move to FBS. Surely he knew the program had to get a staff in place that could begin recruiting the caliber of players for FBS. IMO, the reality is these people were steadfastly against the move to FBS. Rather than be seen as having turned their back on App they're using this as an excuse for not coming back. For every 1 of those we lose, we'll gain 5 more because of this move.

This forecast is the best football weather we may have yet this season! Hopefully, The Rock will be packed for Black Saturday.02-13-banana

Wake Forest was tied 20-20 with #21 Clemson last night in the fourth quarter before losing 34-20 on a couple of long plays. Makes ULM's win over Wake look a lot better.

We did a lot of good things in the Texas A&M game but scoring touchdowns wasn't one of them.

From what I saw last night Clemson isn't very good.

I'm still concerned about your D however.

How you have managed to retain your DC baffles me. He may get the call after this year.

I agree. Many Warhawk fans would be happy for him to be head coach of Berry was ever released. Everyone loves Reffett and this may be one of the best ULM defenses ever, but unfortunately also one of the worst offenses.

It looks like it will be sunny and around 50 degrees at kickoff. Great weather to "put the ball down and play."

That was one of the best live App State experiences of my life, and that's saying something.

Welcome to the Rock.

Absolutely. One of the most fun times I've had at the Rock in years. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this team, including the rest of this year. On to Arkansas State.
