That first one would be illegal in Alabama (I don't know about Texas). I created a few trick onside kicks a few years ago and I copied one that I used in JUCO before coming to UAB. It was similar to this one where our guy caught the kick. We checked the rules on it, and sure enough, the player can't catch the onside kick. It has to hit the ground first. So, we had to get our kicker to drive it lower so it hit and bounced to our recovery man. It is a crappy rule! I love this kick.

In the second one, the QB seemed to think he was in a basketball game. That was a huge mistake! Wow.
