He should be a politician. Premier Bowls.....really? 03-lmfao
2014: vs BYU
2015: vs CUSA
2016: vs MAC
2017: vs MAC
2018: vs MAC
2019: vs Sun Belt.........Now that's premier.
It will take your breath away....especially if you get those Section 300 seats.

The act is really getting old Rag. But expected from you when you are more about the
opponent than about UC. Do you ever post anything positive?

A "Big East" bowl? Guess I hope UC does not suck me into season tickets.
Maybe we should sit at home until a P5 invite comes along.

Many positive posts.....it's just a shame you focus on the negative ones.

If you want to post that UC is doing just fine, please feel free. I won't criticize your opinion.

I do laugh, though, on how many people like to determine whose opinion is positive or negative. 03-lmfao

I'm positive that the following facts came straight from the AAC and Miami Beach Bowls own websites. Should we just keep all this a big secret?

2014: vs BYU
2015: vs CUSA
2016: vs MAC
2017: vs MAC
2018: vs MAC
2019: vs Sun Belt

Had a blast at the International Bowl. Loved sitting near the Croatian guys that thought they were going to attend a soccer match. My former colleague that lives in Toronto still wears his C-paw hat I gave him and follows our Bearcats.

The facts are that there is no premier bowl for this league. It would be nice if our league champion if not in the access bowl could have a landing spot in the Liberty or Sun Bowl. I could live with that. That said, I'm always going to support the cats no matter who, what, when or where.

That bowl game would be top of the line in this cruddy rotation if for no other reason than it was on a Saturday 4-5 days after New Years. Easy to swing even for the gainfully employed. Military falls on a decent date on the calendar and us an interesting location that is not strictly a plane ticket away, but the Miami date is freaking awful. The other locations and matchups do little for me.

Going back 2 decades, I have only missed Ft Worth, Papa John's, and one Belk. Unless it is possibly Annapolis the Saturday after XMas, I will save the time and money and sit this batch out.

Look...

1) I am not a fan of most football-games-played-in-baseball-stadiums. The two simply are not compatible and pro-sports have realized that and stopped building Baseball-Football joint use stadiums. (See Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, etc...) Marlins Park is a dedicated BASEBALL stadium, sandwiching a football field into it is a BAD idea. This is why I was more in favor of the "Boca Bowl" idea. At least that's a FOOTBALL stadium. A dinky stadium, granted, but a football stadium. Putting a football field into a baseball stadium always ends up with bad sight-lines, half-useable capacity, etc...

2) I am not a fan of this conference nor its bowl line-up. Again, it is what it is. Short of saying "We should just turn down any invitation..." we have to look at what is the best of a poor situation. TWO of the conference bowls are in baseball stadiums, so one question is whether or not you'd rather be in the mausoleum that is "The Trop" or in the nicer stadium that is Marlins Park. (I go with Marlins Park...) Would you rather be in Birmingham, AL, or Miami, FL. (I go with Miami, every time.) Would you rather be outside in a potential cold-weather situation in Maryland, or in warm-weather situation in Florida. (I go with the warm weather every time...) Would you rather have a guaranteed game (this year) with BYU (assuming they get Bowl Eligible) or take your chances that the ACC sends someone to the bowl...

Would I "LIKE" a shot at the Rose Bowl? Or the Orange Bowl? Or any other "Name" Bowl? You betcha. But it's not there right now. So you either make the best of it, or you don't.

Oh, and let's face it. There will be NOBODY sitting up in the 300's. It will be lower deck and club level all the way. There is no way they're selling enough tickets in any case to open up the 300+ level. They'll probably tarp those off.
