Dave Lamont reminds me of a TV version of Bill Baker. That's as solid of a team as we could hoped for. Since it is in my backyard I'm headed down to Muncie tonight, I don't think the ESPN2 cameras can selectively crop to make this attendance look OK. This weeknight stuff is really really tough when no teams are necessarily in that national spotlight.

Ball State is worse than us in the stands averaging 11K for the season. I am expecting a very sterile environment in the stands which should neutralize any home field advantage.

lots of apparent reasons to want to win this game not the least of which we need to. But I think the BSU coach last year really showed what he is about when he basically said he was looking to leave when the Wake job opened. When you say stuff like that you better be sure you get the job.

LOL he was showing interest the UCONN job a few weeks before that too. Right after our game last year he got in a shouting match with a fan from here that was in the stands.

Our offense shows up like it did against Miami and the D makes some timely stops/causes two turnovers this game.
