Second halves
I can't help but call attention to the performance of our defense post-halftime over the past 4 games:

10/11 @Ball State - 7 points allowed
10/18 @Bowling Green - 0 points allowed, 1 fumble recovery
10/25 Ohio - 14 points allowed, 1 fumble recovery (Ohio scored a TD with 10 seconds remaining in the game)
11/1 @Miami - 0 points allowed, 1 INT

That's 8 full quarters now, 120 minutes of football, where we've allowed a total of 21 points - 3/4 of it on the road, no less.

They've really come into their own as the season's progressed. Keep it up, Broncos!

RE: Second halves
It's going to be even better when this coaching staff learns how to make adjustments instead of teams just handing us games in the second half.

Great observation.

Do you you honestly think that the reason our defense is so much better in the second half is because the other team just gave up?

This was a sarcastic statement. It obviously went over like a lead balloon.

RE: Second halves
Well, Miami gave up in the 1st Quarter. Anyone see that Franklin run? A bad strategy by Miami to "let him score" on that 50+ yard run for a TD, untouched. :)
