I will not be a complete horses ass, as the ECU posters have been in here recently. I am an ECU fan and love the team. Now I can root for them again.

You're right! We should all stick together!

Regardless of who gets the Access Slot, they need to DESTROY their P5 opponent.

I'll just be happy at 25.

Its easier to be classy when you are leading the race. Shouldnt be a problem now. Hats off to the ECU fans wishing us luck sfter the loss.

Agree..... However, I would rather see an undefeated Marshall team get the Access Spot than a one loss MWC champ……

Yup! With what has happened so far today and the fact that there are a couple games between ranked teams yet to be played (where someone has to lose) I would hope Marshall debuts around 20-21 on Tuesday. I still think that 0 in the loss column (as long as it stays there) is going to keep looking better and better each week and Marshall will end up pretty high up there.

As to being classy, some ECU fans deserve otherwise honestly, but those of us who have tried to be civil appreciate the high road that I have seen pretty much all Marshall fans taking so far.

Always liked Marshall and if you guys take care of business, I will certainly be pulling for you to knock off the P5 in the Access Bowl. We have been fighting like children over who gets that spot but an important thing to remember is the G5 needs to make this a competitive bowl. If we simply get smoked 2-3 times in a row the country club crowd will figure out a way to squeeze us out so whether it is Marshall, CSU, Boise St. etc.. I hope you crush the P5

So, how did Rakeem Cato's appearance on GameDay go? Have to admit, that show's gotten a little stale with me now, I'm tired of all the P5 glorification talk and the obvious (bleep)ery going on against the G5 Conferences and its' representatives, it's become very disgusting to me, I didn't watch today, and quite frankly, I'm gradually eliminating it from my viewing preferences. Besides, Corso's a sideshow, what's his record this year with the mascot predictions, anyway? Bet he's under .500...

They seemed sincerely interested and broached how he and the team felt after not being ranked. Cato was humble and a bit shy as usual. It was fluff but not over the top and they recapped some of his plays and stats.

Obviously I was pulling for ECU to gain the access bowl slot because we share a conference together.

It now looks like Marshall is clearly in the driver's seat.

Good luck to the Herd for the balance of the season and in the big bowl game.

No doubt that every single ECU fan would be pulling for Marshall if they made the Access Bowl.
