If we win out including beating ECU and:

- Memphis wins out which they should be favored in each game
- East Carolina beats UCF last game of season and both take care of all other games which they should be favored.

4 teams tied at 1-loss for Conference.

Anyone know what tiebreaker would be?

It's really poor that Memphis doesn't play ECU or UCF and we don't play UCF again!! Can't have a league this poor in talent and then have scheduling woes as well.

East Carolina losing by 14 to Temple right now. They could be in trouble.

There are no tiebreaker procedure for the access. The committee will either select one of the co-champs or a champ from another conference.

The scheduling issue had to do with membership changes over the past few years. Next year with divisional everything will be fine.

RE: Standings
Other than the guys getting a ring (which is certainly important to them) and maybe a little press that UC co-won a weak league, if what you propose comes true, then no Access Bowl for an AAC team. What remains is a lot of minor bowls that don't have to choose based on finish. Good chance UC would play in the Birmingham bowl against a CUSA team especially if the bottom feeders in the SEC don't qualify.

ECU is officially in big trouble. This is good news for the 'Cats. Need UCF to lose as well.

UCF now down to UCONN again . 3 weeks ago our season looked like it was headed down the toilet. Now we could be tied for first after today with momentum on our side.

Our trip to Philly and Connecticut however looks a lot scarier .

And the Access Bowl goes to the Mountain West or that crew from Huntington.

We just have to win out and see what happens. A 9-3 record would make us AAC co-champions and give us a pretty good bowl game - even if it's not the Access Bowl.

The MWC is pretty bad this year. Boise and CSU are the best of it, and that's not saying much. If Marshall goes 13-0 they get it.

I think if Boise won out they would be 11-2. That might trump Marshall. If Boise were to lose and CSU went to the MWC CCG and won they could be 12-1. Boise and CSU are in the same division of the MWC.

I tend to agree that the Mountain West champion should be ahead as long as that team is CSU or Boise State. Marshall's schedule is almost a non-starter at this point. I am not sure if beating Rice or La Tech in the C-USA championship game is going to do anything for them either.

Cincinnati still has an outside shot at the access bowl game. First order of business is win out. That would take care of Houston and ECU. I believe UCF will lose at least one more game and frankly even a tie between UC and UCF should go to Cincinnati. Memphis needs to lose at Temple because their resume includes a head to head win over Cincinnati not to mention they were competitive in their losses to UCLA, Ole Miss, and Houston.

After all that occurs, Marshall needs to lose a game even better if that game is the C-USA championship to the west division winner. Lastly the west division has to win the Mountain West championship game. I would still watch out for NIU if they finish 11-2.

If we're going to be in a non power 5 conference for a long time Marshall has the blue print to get in the big six bowl games every year. Play absolutely nobody. Seriously, look at their schedule. They should be automatically exempt from a big six bowl for that tray of pasties they call a schedule.

I've been worried about Temple all year but don't put a lot of stock in their blowout today. They were being dominated in total yards but had a 5-0 turnover edge. We haven't been especially turnover prone so they'll have to play better offensively to beat us.

They usually play WVU, don't they?

Governor forced them to play each other, was a 7 game series played 2006-12. No future dates scheduled between the 2, before that only 6 previous meetings

It shouldn't IMO. ECU looked like absolute garbage today. Played in the cold rain like USF normally does.

This collective conference continues to find its low water level.

Can we please get a do over from the garbage game against Memphis? Speaking of which, how the heck did Memphis miss both ECU and UCF on their conference schedule? They have a cakewalk.

Most important thing here is that if we win out we can get to 10 wins. Would be pretty glorious....considering how things started.
