6 games vs. 1 game.

The only good fan in this thread is me, and I don't remember anything about Friday night.

Hopefully our fans redeem themselves in 3 & 4 weeks when we have a chance to finish 9-3!

I sat and watched the whole game & didn't leave until the final snap despite the score on the score board. I stayed despite all of the above excuses that I've seen on this board trying to describe why our attendance pretty much sucks anytime $5 Kroger or free fedex tickets aren't in play. I started this thread, & I still stand by it. Memphis fans suck.

Bowen is stupid (and clueless) and Memphis fans suck. Truer words have never been spoken. You are a winner.

It must be tough being a fn hypocrite. Memphis fan suck for not going to the game but your not going to the games either. I don't give a rats azz how far away you live...if your going to criticize at least be one of the 27,000 for not going to the game.04-chairshot

I have no clue wtf you are talking about. I doubt you do either. Who am I criticizing?

I just put you in his category since you agreed with him. If it was sarcasm forgive me.

In stammers defense. He was being sarcastic. Not agreeing with me. He hates me. :)

We don't show up for basketball either unless it's a big game. They announce 16,000 for a game against, say, Tulsa. Psh, there ain't but MAYBE 12k in 'nat biznitch

Our biggest problem IMO are the students. If it ain't homecoming or ole miss in foosball or UT or Louisville in hoops ain't many coming.

True but that Student Activity Fee is guaranteed moolah which I assume is why they keep the student section so large. Even if the students don't show up school still collects.

University of Illinois student section on Senior Day 2014 during the game. Not before or after or halftime. 44,000 students enrolled. Yikes.

When I was at Illinois, the students sat on the sides. This is the endzone, they may have moved it since way back when, but I'm guessing the students may have migrated to better seats even if this is the student section.

The announced attendance for this game was just over 35K. Not great, but not completely awful.
