Make Your Predictions
For WMU at Miami Saturday.

Make mine;

WMU 37
Miami 17

Defense shows up big again and the offense rolls. Over by halftime.

OK you homers, what say YOU?

45-21

Pj has the offense rolling. Would like to see a backup qb play a series or two.

RE: Make Your Predictions
31-24

We don't score as much as we should. Miami calls us out to run Franklin up the middle, which we do. We play too-conservative route, they call it -- they got us -- but in the end, we got them.

Despite their last second TD and on-side kick that fails, I'm not "Happy", but relieved. I turn to NIU to beat the hell out of Toledo in the not so distant future to vie for a 3-way tie. That's my prediction.

I made mine in the game thread:

42-28 Broncos.

Hendrix rips apart our secondary, but it doesn't matter because they can't stop our offense.

I like that part about Franklin. If they force us to pound them in the middle, that is a fools game on their part. It might work for awhile, until their D is a bloody beat down mess. Sooner or later they drop. By the fourth they lose their will to resist.

RE: Make Your Predictions
I believe we have legit depth on the Dline, particularly at DE. They rotate these guys constantly and they're fresh bodies all the time. Adams, Braster, McKinney, and Turner can all run.

I think we blitz the chit out of Hendrix and his empty backfield. I don't think the DB's get torched in man, because he won't have the time to scan the field and do check downs.

This is exactly what Kent did. Hendrix tried to dink and dunk with underneath stuff, but they don't have the size or speed at WR to do much after the catch. He'll get some running lanes and could burn us there, but he's not Dan Lefevour.

We methodically run up a good lead, and Miami tacks on meaningless points when the game has been decided.

38-17, but not even as close as that score looks.

RE: Make Your Predictions
Eight games in, and we've played one bad half all season: the first half at Ball State. I think Ball State is significantly better than Miami. It would take at least three quarters of bad football on our part to put this one at risk. We've been so consistent this year that I just don't see that happening.

WMU 41
Miami 20

I'll be shocked if we don't cover that spread.

Bonus pick: If Rawls is out today (I don't know his status), give me EMU 30, CMU 28 and a significantly warmer seat for Enos.

I agree. EMU's D is pretty good if your O is not running on all cylinders. A team can put up points if they are, but EMU has improved over the weeks, locking down their D better.

I think WE will do OK if we have our O going. And we (should) seek revenge on those leprechaun ba$tards -- so our O should be running on all cylinders then.

CMU's going to have to have Davis carry that one. I think it's a toss-up between them both. I would be Surprised if CMU wins big, or if EMU wins by more than 7.

You and Hiller have to battle to the death to decide who wins.
