What a great atmosphere they have created in the last fifteen years down in Louisville.

Can't even watch the game knowing that Louisville's leadership had this vision, and UC just watched it happen, did virtually nothing, and got left behind.

Rags, can you do anything without complaining about the UC leadership or the AAC?

Probably not. Especially when you see how far UofL has passed us. Hoops season will be worse. UofL has always been my biggest rival, far more than X. Just hate it. But the good news is that we have a new candy bar celebrating our mascot. At least that was Ono's big post on Facebook today.

Just think, when UC does finally get P5 money and a seat at the big boy table, there will be another benefit. I will shut up.

This game could be billed as The Gutter Bowl or The Sleaze Bowl. Hard to root for either.

I didn't watch the game. But I am happier this morning knowing that Louisville lost.

And considering that I loathe Florida State, that is saying something.

The way they lost it after blowing a big lead was even sweeter. The stunned look on the Lousyville fan's faces was priceless.
BTW, I know he's a tool, but Winston should probably win the Heisman again if they run the table in the regular season.

I don't care too much for FSU either, but what I DO like is that in the past few years they have thrown a monkey wrench into the $EC dominance of the College F-ball world, and that makes me smile.

I wanted them to win last night, not so much because it was UofL, but to at least keep hope alive that we don't see an all $EC playoff.

Great point. I stated on another board, that I rooted for a tornado to come.

A lot of people wanted to see Winston lose, but you have that guy on the other side coaching.

RE: OT Ville 21-0 over FSU
I was at the game. The atmosphere was indeed electric. To the poster that said 15 years, it was actually 30. December 1984: Louisville hired Coach Schnellenberger. Everything that has happened since then is a result of that. Jurich gets a lot of credit. If it had not been for Bill Olsen, Louisville would have dropped football. Without football, no ACC.
Good luck the rest of the season
CJ
