Welcome to my mixer
Hi everyone. I've talked (and argued) with several of you here but want to get to know a little more about you. Though we argue often, we are fairly close-knit and would defend the conference against outsiders.

I'd like y'all to tell us a little bit about yourself so we can see you as more than a homer. I'll tell a little bit about myself after someone else starts out. Don't want to be the first and just hang out there without company.

RE: Welcome to my mixer
I'm a pisces. I have long blonde hair, blue eyes. I want to be an astronaut, or a veterinarian someday to help those cute little puppies, or to fly in space.

My turn-ons are:
- Long walks on the beach
- Non Dennis Franchione offenses
- smiling
- muscle cars

My turn-offs are:
- rude people! :(
- The color orange
- People by the name of Larry Teis
- Long walks off short piers.

03-lmfao03-lmfao I was trying to be serious, Rev. Some of you I've really enjoyed conversing with but wanted to get to know y'all at a deeper level. Once I get to know y'all better, I would be less likely to jump on you for saying something stupid ( and likewise with me).

On a side note, you like muscle cars? I love them! Though I don't have a true muscle car, I do have a 1971 Pontiac LeMans Sport that I am modifying (pro touring car). I've spent tons of money upgrading her and she's still not finished.

RE: Welcome to my mixer
I'll break the seal on this puppy. Mid 30's municipal budget analyst. Married with 2 kids (boys 10 and 6). Bachelor's and Master's from GS. Born in Ohio, did 5 years there, 5 in Michigan and 5 in Vegas. Been in Georgia for the last 20, it's home now. I enjoy craft beer, grilling, playing with my kids, watching sports, playing golf when I have time/can afford it (read: never), and spending entirely too much time on collegiate sports message boards. My P-5 team is the Spartans of Michigan State, but if we ever play them in a bowl or the NCAA tourney or something I'll be TRUE BLUE. I also like Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain.

RE: Welcome to my mixer
I go to the Real GSU. I drive an electric car (great gas mileage in the city!) with the license plate REALGSU. (That's if I'm not riding my scooter to school.) I spend most weekends taking in art galleries and watching the Real GSU play. My goal is to find out where my tofu comes from; I think it's from somewhere outside the perimeter. Go Panthers!

EDIT: Oh crap, it's getting serious now...I'll post a real one...sorry about that...

Thank you, 'boro. Where in Ohio are you from? I was born and raised in Ashland County and took my freshman year at Ohio State so I'm a Buckeye fan after my Eagles. I've lived in Georgia since 1975 (with the exception of one year at OSU) so Georgia is HOME. It is nice to know you, 'boroeagle2.

I had to stop about halfway through because I couldn't see the screen anymore from the tears of laughter. Where did you find this?

03-lmfao Just another viral vid that I found on youtube a while ago.
In all seriousness though, I've been a Georgia Southern fan by birth and a GS student since 2010. My favorite color is Navy blue, and I am a former member and avid supporter of the Southern Pride Marching Band.

Kewl! I was thinking about having a car painted in GS colors with the GS athletic seal on the doors. Would be a great promotional for the school. I can see that on a sleek car, representing our team speed.

I was born in Akron, and have family in the Warren/Youngstown area and down south of Columbus too. Not really sure where Ashland County is. My uncle went to OSU too, so I sort of pull for them a little bit.

Ashland is about 40 miles west of Akron. If you know where Mansfield and Wooster are, it is right between them. I-71 goes through Ashland.

I have a serious goal to get a conversion van for tailgating and put some ridiculous 70s-inspired airbrushed panther art on the side.
