Bowl Predictions & College Football Playoff Picks
Here are the College Football Playoff & Bowl Projections - this has the MAC getting 5 teams in but it looks like any 6-6 MAC teams are out of luck.
A few notes:
- C-USA is a lot like the MAC - a few clear bowl teams and a bunch or mid-range or lower records
- MAC fans should root against BYU, Navy and Army - each will get a bowl if they reach 6 wins and while Army (2-5) seems out of it, BYU and Navy are both sitting at 4-4 on the year. Would be great for the MAC/Sun Belt/CUSA/MW is Navy and BYU are 5-7 this year

RE: Bowl Predictions & College Football Playoff Picks
Yeah, Army's out -- you can count them out. They lost to Kent State by a wide margin. Do you really think they're going to go 4-1 rest of the way?
BYU, although riding off a backup QB and not a grand mid-major anymore, is still going to get 6-6 as they got through their hardest part of schedule already:
BYU: 7-5 (6-6 at the worst)
@Mid-Tenn : 60% (W)
UNLV : 80% (W)
Savannah State : 95% (W)
@Cal : 35% (L)
NAVY: 6-6 (5-7 would require losing @S-Alabma; SA has good mid-maj D, but not great O)
Notre Dame : 30% (L)
GA-South : 40% (L)
@South-Alabama : 65% (W)
Army : 80% (W)
Navy has a SLIGHT possibility of going 5-7, but it's doubtful. Army's a given win, and although South-Alabama is a Sun Belt team that can win, and it's on the road there -- Navy should take care of them. South-Alabama only beat Kent by 10, and besides 2 of the their losses being Good teams, their wins were Easy Teams.
