Interdisciplinary studies major actually requires completion of real classes. The paper classes at UNC were a mix of independent study courses that only required submission of one "paper" and classes that were not really classes at all and existed only on paper..Three completely different things.

This is just a learning experience for the next time Hamilton adopts an athletically gifted foreign kid.

Yeah, they are different things. However, it's still taking junk classes in order to get the minimum requirements to stay eligible/graduate. That degree will get you nowhere if basketball is out of the picture. Just not a good move to make unless you're a sure-fire pro. And even then it's still not the best idea.

I know you're kidding, but I just read a paper from one of 'those classes' that my friend, an African-American kid with a JUCO BB schollie wrote. I read it as his friend, and it was extremely well done. It was on the History of Harlem and was very informative.
