I agree that I think ODU wins

at this point of the season I can't see a way for us to beat any of the teams left on the schedule. our defense is so bad. you can run the ball right up the gut, and tell us that you're doing it ahead of time and you'll get at least 10 yards on the play.

Seems like the posters from other schools think more of ODU that our own fans? Are we too hard on ourselves or is it that the posters from other schools don't know us as well?

True, no reason ODU can't win this game. Especially considering UMass is near the bottom of FBS & Charleston Southern is FCS.
UMass QB Frohnapfel is a lot like Heinicke and they had more total yards than Candy.

It's easy to get down on yourselves in a season like this, but saying you can beat Vandy isn't exactly high praise anyhow. Surely you recognize that if freaking UMASS and Charleston Southern can play with Vandy, ODU surely can as well. If you guys show up like you did against us or WKU, you should be able to beat Vandy, it may be a shootout, but your offense should be able to score on Vandy.

Just watched ODU play this past week, very impressive offense and beating RIce at RIce was impressive...Your defense looks like our defense, but no reason like everyone else has said you cannot beat Vandy...I think your defense comes up with a big play vs by the numbers one of the worst QB's in the nation(Vandy QB)....

After looking at the big picture, I think we can do it...

Now if O_U ends up losing, we'll feel guilty.

See, that's what worries me. If UMass and Charleston Southern give them a run, they get routed by what will probably be a .500 Temple team, but then beat up ODU, it's going to take our already-flagging confidence and just curb-stomp it.

Which is weird, because Vandy was the game in which we kind of figured a win was an unobtainable goal before the season. Now it's like "well, we have to beat THOSE guys at least, right?"
