And this is were the SBC screwed all of us by not scheduling the two new member to at least play one of the two best teams in the conference the last three years. Now you could possible have your out right or co champion sitting at home during bowl season. No one in CUSA gives a crap that GaSo don't play UL or A State there perception will be this conference sucks because an up start team from the FBS won the conference never mind that GaSo has been a consistent winner in FBS and have a very good and tradition rich program. I feel the scheduling has set the conference back. A state, UL will get there bowl games and be happy but from the outside looking in this conference is the worst you could be in until the leadership changes. Either go to ten or twelve teams, eleven doesn't help. Heck Im glad GaSo is putting the conference in this position maybe we ll get something done about it.

Or at the end of the season people will look at the conference standing and see Ark State, UL, and GS with only 1 conf loss, and will think "wow, those are three really good teams."

You guys are making yourselves paranoid with how our success is making you guys look. UL and Ark St will get a bowl invite. Get it, win it, and move on. Maybe GS gets lucky and not enough teams become bowl eligible. Then maybe we get a bowl and we win. Maybe TXST or USA gets a bowl and they win. Then at that point, if the Sun Belt goes 4-0 in bowl games, that will help the overall perception. You know what doesn't help conference perception? Ga State, NMSU, and Idaho. App is getting a free pass by most because of the transition.

Or maybe they'll think, 'Well, those three are the best in their conference but not very good outside their conference.' You seem to forget that only stAte has an OOC G5/P5 win of those three (so far). It's my opinion that the SunBelt didn't plan for GS to do as well as they have and the scheduling reflected it. I think if you have more than one new program, the schedule should be equal rather than one heavy and one light. I feel for App St. with their schedule. I kind of wish we had it instead of them. Then we wouldn't hear the same crap that Marshall has been hearing all season.

People think Georgia Southern is a pretty good team. If they go 10-2 they will be right. Way too much thought being put into this. GaSo being seen to be successful is good for the conference.

right. I haven't seen one article saying that the conference must be weak, and that is why GS is doing so well.
