Since the signal is digital, it either works, or it doesnt. There is no quality of the signal like with older analog connectors.

If you need any cable - Cat5, Cat6, AV, HDMI, you name it - just do yourself a favor and give Monoprice your money:

Seriously. Best place ever for basic electronics stuff.

Help please!

Per recommendations, I bought the fire stick, and just got it yesterday. Seems awesome, excep I bought mostly for the watch ESPN app, wich I use on all my other devices with my charter cable/internet service. However, when I try to log in to watch ESPN with the fire stick it does not list charter as one of the providers. I called ESPN customer service and the guy was useless. I googled it and I saw on one of the reviews of the fire. Stick someone had same complain, but then edited the review to say that ESPN corrected the problem and added charter as a provider, but it isn't listed on mine.

Does anyone else use the fire stick with charter? Can any of you tech geniuses troubleshoot for me? This is serious business. I paid $20 for this thing....it better be perfect.

It works fine for me. But, per something that I read online, try this...

Make sure that your laptop and Fire Stick are on the same wireless network. Once you have the ESPN app installed and at the log-in screen, go to watchespn.com/activate and log-in with your Charter Credentials there.

I don't have cable TV...on Charter for internet and I haven't had any issues with it.

Good luck!

I have tried to log in on the tv screne, but the first thing it asks is to select the. Provider. Charter not there. Are you saying to some how log in with my laptop or iPad? Not sure I understand, but would owe you a beer if you can get me to figuring it out.

That's what I'm saying you could try...

I think the theory is that the online log in through your laptop would recognize that the Fire Stick is on your network and will set it up...sort of like the Chromecast works. Can't hurt to try...
