Seems about right to me. Tulsa has marginally better size and talent than SMU.

Still, they are pretty darn terrible and we should carve them up like a jack-o-lantern.

We didn't run the score up on SMU, either, but we still scored 48. Fuente put in the bench in the 3Q, and took a knee at the end of the game, when we could have scored again.

It will depend on how much we score early.

I heard their coach interviewed this week. Said they'd had like 10 cornerbacks and safeties in and out with injuries this season. Says the challenge will be to stop our WIDE RECEIVERS.

Have we ever lost when favored by more than 20 points? If so, when?

To go 5-3 by Halloween AND have a game left against UCONN at home would be really, really cool!

Thought real hard about betting on Memphis last week, didn't, then regretted it. Think I'll take the Tigers this week. Tulsa looks pretty terrible.

We've never lost, but we are 2-3 ATS now in games favored by more than 20 since 1992.

We actually will have two home games left...USF (11/22) and UCONNED (11/29)

I see one source has us as a 24 point favorite now. I also see that for this season, we are 5-1-1 against the spread. How long has it been since we were favored by 20-odd points in consecutive games? I never remember that happening before.

(1) Tulsa leads the all-time series with us by at least 5 games

(2) If we miss tackles and turn the ball over the way we did against Houston, they also are capable of beating us.

Stay away from this game. Justin and the Tulsa coach are very close, and he will call off the dogs very early on this one to avoid an embarrassing loss for his old mentor. I see a 41-24 type score with a backdoor cover by Tulsa in the 4th quarter.
