Nick's Picks Recap & Latest Power Poll
Nick's Picks went 4-2 this weekend and moves to 59-21 year to date, far below the 80% historical average. I need to clean the crystal ball this week.

Nick's Pick: NIU 37 - Eastern 20
Actual Score: NIU 28 - Eastern 17
Comment: Went as predicted as the Huskies had to grind out a win

Nick's Pick: Western 31 - Ohio 22
Actual Score: Western 42 - Ohio 21
Comment: Broncos had even less trouble with the Bobcats than I thought...give it up for Western Michigan who are quickly looking like a MAC bowl team this year

Nick's Pick: Toledo 42 - UMass 37
Actual Score: Toledo 42 - UMass 35
Comment: As predicted as once again the paltry UT defense makes every opposing QB look like an All-American...props to the Minutemen who have vastly improved under Mark Whipple

Nick's Pick: Akron 23 - Ball State 21
Actual Score: Ball State 35 - Akron 21
Comment: This pick was nearly spot on until Akron had a total collapse in the 4th quarter. Congrats to the Cards for grinding out another win.

Nick's Pick: Miami 38 - Kent State 23
Actual Score: Miami 10 - Kent State 3
Comment: Not surprised that the score was closer than I had predicted, very surprised that the score was so low

Nick's Pick: Buffalo 24 - Central 16
Actual Score: Central 20 - Buffalo 14
Comment: I had a feeling this would be a low scoring affair, just thought it would be the Bulls who would get the winning TD

RE: Nick's Picks Recap & Latest Power Poll
I know that I'm just arguing that we're the taller midget, but how is Miami below UMass? I know they've had some really close losses to good teams, but we have too and at the end of the day we're the ones that beat them

Think he is making the distinction between teams with potential and those that are not trending well.

I have Miami in that group above the bottom. They can win the East.

Miami has potential but cannot seem to put it all together and get wins.
