Without the offensive line they lose the game. Johnson is getting a lot of credit, but on his long runs he wasn't even touched. Obviously he's got 4.6 speed, but the O-line were the reasons for at least 150 of those yards.
In this particular game, that may well be true. But you know as well as anyone (ECU isn't at that different of a level to what we are, and faces many of the same challenges) that any publicity we can drum up is good for both the school and the conference. In a way, we're not just voting for Johnson's Saturday. We're voting to get him recognized for the entire season he's had at this point. It's good for all of us if he's in the national public eye.
