Wrong.

Bo thought above himself and was determined to be the hero and naturally ha dto go for the last second winning TD toss on national TV. Poor pass, underthrown, and LSU makes the game clinching pick.

Pop goes the undefeated season bubble.

Wallace had been off target all game. LSU pressured him during the game and yapped at him, adding pressure. Wallace can't handle pressure; MEMPHIS exposed that but couldn't take full advantage. SEC teams can and LSU did.

Wallace just couldn't handle throwing that final game deciding pick; his poor decision to go for the HEROIC victory blew up in his face.

So he just ran off the field into the locker room. Classless but not unexpected.

Auburn up next and that ain't a gimme for the Rebels. Of course, the Egg Bowl looms at the end and the pressure to win for the Rebels might see Bo totally implode. Bulldog QB Prescott might prove to be the better QB in Vaught-Hemingway on Bo's Senior Day.

What an absolutely delicious thought.

Ole Miss could finish 10-2 or 9-3 and go to the Outback or Citrus Bowl. A bit of a letdown after such a heralded start, hosting the GameDay crew, and FINALLY shrugging the Bama gorilla off their backs. What a tragedy.

Start over in 2015 minus their senior QB and star WRs.

Yea...I would only add...It's OK for fans to think their time has come and they have been anointed.

But the head coach still has to keep his head in the game. I saw a short clip of Coach Freeze going so happy-nutz after one of the victories that he melted into a self-serving puddle.

It just doesn't look like the Freeze personality is ready for ultimate success at this stage of development. Maybe he pulls it together and doesn't lose another game...? Big questionmark how this is going to pan out.

That whole thing was jacked up at the end. The running another play and not stopping the clock, the delay of game, then the pass was just poorly done. Now, this happens a lot. Les Myles has done the same stupid stuff at the end of games. And JF blew it in that lose to UT Martin a couple of years with bad choices. It happens. It just happened to Ole Miss on national TV. Karma is a bi***.

Wrong.

Bo thought above himself and was determined to be the hero and naturally had to go for the last second winning TD toss on national TV. He's Bo the Conquerer; the undisputed MAN. Result? A poor pass, underthrown, and LSU makes the game clinching pick.

**POP** goes the undefeated season bubble.

Wallace had been off target all game. LSU pressured him during the game and yapped at him, adding pressure. Wallace can't handle pressure; MEMPHIS exposed that but couldn't take full advantage. SEC teams can and LSU did.

Wallace just couldn't deal with throwing that final game deciding pick; his poor decision to go for the HEROIC victory blew up in his face.

So he just ran off the field into the locker room to hide.

Hell, he might clinch a Heisman Trophy with a win as well as certify the Bulldogs invitation to the four team playoff.

All in that one game.

They coulda been a contender.

not a gimme....lol....28-10-3, yeah you could say that

RE: LOL Freeze Coogs it!!
the playcall wasn't that bad of an idea. Bo's decision to throw it where he did was dumb.

This.
Tying the game with a FG (maybe) and then hoping to beat LSU at night in death valley in front of 100,000 drunk coonies?
Not bloody likely.
So you try the pass.
But that pass was attempted by the guy who claims to drive 4 hours to get his hair styled, so there ya go.

I would rather Ole Miss be in there than Notre Dame. Ole Miss would have earned it, the committee is going to do everything they can to get Notre Dame in there.

Classy kid.

Bubble burst...the future should be interesting.

That was a quick shot of him heading to the tunnel, but even my wife noticed that and didn't like it at all.

49 yard game winning FG for a freshman kicker is a lot to ask.

44 yarder before the penalty seemed more plausible. After the penalty, it got messy.

Not me. Notre Dame is my second favorite team, after the Tigers. I'm not so much against ole miss as I am that self serving jerk, Hugh Freeze. I loved watching his face in a 'oh no, melt down' after the interception that Wallace threw. Like someone else said in an earlier post, karma's a b!tch. Glad it came back to bite him on his @ss.

Part of me wants to see ND in there vs an SEC team. I love watching the Irish get the ever living dog sh!t kicked out of them and there's no more sure way of that happening than stick them in there vs Bama, Auburn, etc. I got a kick out of someone writing:

Forest Gump kicked Rudy's ass
42-14

Is that really a done deal?

If they win out and beat an undefeated state, then they might still be in.

Granted its unlikely but I don't think this puts them officially out. I'm not an expert on the new system so I could be wrong.

so, did last night's loss to Arky completely eliminated the Bears from the playoffs as well as SEC championship game?

Why even ask such a dumb question unless you think you are trash talking an OM fan? lol

I assure, I am not and never will be a fan of OM or MSU. Not even close

Perhaps you read a bit too much into my post. I simply pointed out the fact that at that time, weeks ago, they were still in the hunt if they had won out.

They failed.

RE: LOL Freeze Coogs it!!
A ton of teams are still in the hunt midway through the season.

In mid October, mispiiiii was 7-0, coming off a solid win over Utk, and feeling on top of the world as though they had already been anointed as an elite level member along with the Oregons and Alabamas of the world.

Memphis was sitting at 3-3.

Fast forward five weekends of college football since then. Misppiiiiii has not win a D1 game in that stretch but did have an impressive win over the Blue Hose of Presbyterian. They now sit at 8-3. Memphis is also sitting at 8-3. Instead of resting on their press clippings for playing competitively although losing to a few highly ranked teams, they got to work, and ran off five wins in a row, all but one in basically blowout fashion, three of those on the road.

My oh my.
