RE: UTSA
UTSA's other win is over one of the Florida geographic schools, either the airport or the ocean.

I've never heard them described like that before.

Yes, I looked it up they did get a W over one of the many directional schools in Florida.....Not sure which direction it was, but it wasn't Central or South....

RE: UTSA
Something happened to UTSA and they are in tank mode. It happens every season. They were a lot better at the end of the season.
It's happening to Tulsa.

Not a direction but an airport. I could at some point see a South Florida airport being named Florida Atlantic International Airport. 07-coffee3

RE: UTSA
I told you, UTSA lost their top 2 QB's to injury and the 3rd stringer is beyond horrible. They were not bad when they had their top 2 QB's for the first few games...they were actually decent. What's not to get about this.

They were never that good offensively. The issue was the clowns we have as head coach and OC. When you can't even properly identify your #1 QB you have the very definition of gross incompetence in a coaching staff. Word has been filtering out from players that Ward was the better QB for nearly two years. Most of us assumed they had to be mistaken. It appears they were not. How does a coaching staff move that guy to wide receiver? The Houston season could have gone much differently with just a basic level of competence from the head coach and offensive staff.

UTSA was at least mediocre offensively, before losing Carter and Bogenschutz at QB. Plus they were good defensively. They didn't have too much problem moving ball against Arizona. I actually think Bogie the true freshman is better than Carter. Problem is both went down to injury and the last 3-4 games they've had Robinson playing QB, and he could be the worst QB in FBS...they simply can't move the ball now. A QB can make that much of a difference.

They stink now; they didn't when the season began.

RE: UTSA
Defense is really good, which is how we dominated Houston. The other game we won the defense also forced like 5 turnovers. Not realistic to expect them to do that game in and game out though. The offense has let the team down. Injuries to QB1 and QB2, plus the TE who is arguably the team's best receiver certainly didn't help. Just a terrible season overall after such a promising start.
