The way Rice is playing, Tech will be fortunate to GET to the CCG, much less win it... How quickly they forget all of their chest-thumping and crowing about winning the west last year. Worked out well, eh?

I'm not saying that we'll for sure make it either, we still have a lot of football to go.

I don't think the Tech posters on this thread have said anything more delusional than any other fanbase of a winning team.

I was very impressed with Johnson in the games I've seen. He's deceptively fast, and certainly a top back in the conference.

Side note: All fan message boards are delusional. Tech doesn't seem too special in that regard.

That's just bravado. 100 yards is pretty respectable, IMO. Delusion would be: "He'll be lucky to gain 1 yard."

This is a good point, and one of the things I've been trying to point out. Every winning team has fans that come out and thump their chests a bit. It's pretty much par for the course. Whoever is lighting things up in basketball will likely have a few of their own as well. We saw the same with a select few Memphis fans for years.
