I don't know how I feel about winning this way
Last two games have looked easy. Effortless. Play making left and right. A pass rush like the Schaffer days. Nothing to complain about, hardly a moment where I was even nervous. I'm not used to this, I don't know how I feel.

Certainly a new feeling. Novelty. We'll just have to adjust to this new reality. I was right there, too. Never nervous during this game. Had confidence in the youngsters against this "tough" Ohio defense. And they made it look easy.

I know what you mean, A winning football team, a basketball team that is returning MAC Champs. If they keep this up I will have to change my screen name to BroncoJustKnows.

Heck, I kind of liked feeling on edge, irritated, having my heart pounding. Between Western and the Lions I may give up my meds.

I know what you mean but I've decided I want to make the trip to Kazoo for the EMU game....The Broncos were darn entertaining today and I'm getting the feeling they could win three out of the next four! I've got one foot in the wagon and one dragging on the pavement
Go Broncos

I was nervous thru most of the game. Not until the 4th when we Finally scored again.

But yes, I am now confident to say we WILL go bowling -- and we WILL be at Least 7-5. Possibly get the most improved team of the year award -- to Mr. PJ!

You have no faith, Todd. Barring injury to any thin positions, this team has the talent and mindset to beat not only EMU but Miami and CMU, especially if Rawls is done for the season. Not sure about NIU but I'm liking our chances.

I think that Miami might pose the toughest offensive challenge to our D of all of them. This team has already proven that they can win on the road.

RTMFB, dude. LOL

You're right -- I do lack the Solid faith. I have true faith of the Possibilities, but little faith in actual-happening beyond 2-2 rest of the way. I bite my nails during everything. Our O was great this game, unlike last week where it was Not good (against a bad BGSU D) -- but unfortunately turnovers worried the heck out of me. Especially when it came down to 28-14.

Quote:this team has the talent and mindset to beat not only EMU but Miami and CMU, especially if Rawls is done for the season. Not sure about NIU but I'm liking our chances.

We do. I have full confidence against EMU. @EMU would be tougher, given their weird turf & jersey meshing (which should be illegal). They'll give any better mid-major team issues there. But yes, I have all the faith about that game.

@Miami? We could lose, but yes, I have moderate confidence in winning this. I Expect us to win, but I also Expect it to be a dogfight for a good while.

@CMU? Without Rawls, I'm putting it now to a 55/45 chance (instead of a 65/35 chance). I do have little faith in this one. Remember '00. Remember '00.

NIU? I have faith this will be a very competitive game. I think we could win. I put it at about the same level as @CMU.... NIU with the edge. Why? NIU's going to be improving week to week with their new players and so forth. We'll see the best of them by season's end.

I expect us to go 2-2 from here on out, going 7-5... while 8-4 is a definite possibility, but I'm not Expecting that. I just Expect it to be within an earshot.

After this game, I'd be surprised if we didn't win 8 -- maybe even 9-- games this season.

Hard to believe we've come this far so quickly.

Well, you have to admit that the league is somewhat down this year and that helps the perception that we have. Maybe we're not quite as good as we think we are. We will soon find out. But hard to argue with what we are watching happen before our eyes.

I've already changed my prediction from 3 wins to 5 and now may need to revise it again to 7 or perhaps 8.

I would not get too exited here. We were playing the MAC East these past 2 weeks. 05-nono

Sure, the league is down. But that doesn't change my mind thinking we can't win out. Remember, the league is down this year.

I think NIU IS A MUCH EASIER GAME THAN CMU WITH RAWLS.

Drew Hareball is terrible. He had 44 yards passing midway through the 4th. NIU is a one trick pony. Give it to Fatty Stingly or QB keeper. Problem is Hareball ain't Lynch or Harnish, he's just a crap QB running an offense that worked with the right talent.

Hey 7, Hare blows. Your thoughts?

We are still technically able to win 9 games. You might just get your wish.

Oh, I agree that the possibility exists for that to happen. And, I'll admit that it would make me rather giddy. It would also guarantee that PJ would be a lock for MAC COY and probably garner him some votes for national COY for that kind of a one year turn-around.

Now that the Special Teams is coming along, who knows how far we can go? We've already exceeded my prediction of 4 wins. We could have 6 at this point!

It's great to see this team learn to win.

After game remarks, Fleck said we didn't play very well.

Promised to get that corrected. Mentioned the unsportsmanlike call for one. Said Franklin is early in his development, has a lot to learn. Yikes.
