Rawls out for the rest of the season according to the ESPN announcer. Leg injury.

In lieu of a suspension that is justice. Enos is a coward and couldn't suspend a criminal. Now he's going to get fired without any dignity.

Yeah, no matter how much I dislike an opposing player, I don't root for anybody's injury. Bad form. I may joke about it but not really root for it, as that is different.

But CD wasn't rooting for it - at least openly on here. He just reported it, as if karma had something to do with it.

Well it's happened so it's not about rooting for it. It's about acknowledging that it's a fitting ending for a guy who commited a terrible crime.

Nonetheless. Not really good form to celebrate a guy's season ending injury that way IMO.

I don't feel an ounce of pity for him.

Yeah, but what if he steals a leg and gets back on the field for the CMU/WMU game?! :)

Personally, I think his Legal penalty was fine & fitting. I don't think he "Deserved" more. 1st time offenders, yes, even for high-court misdemeanors, are many times not going to see jail-time. Him doing it at under 20 yo allows it to go off his record arguably "too quick", given probation time. If HE was THE thief, I'd have more qualms. I can't complain about that.

But I'll say this again: Him not telling Enos about it was deceptive and should have gotten a bigger Team penalty. Personally, I am not celebrating a Season-Ending injury at all (like physical pain, having to limp around, etc). I would like it if it was due to something else, some academic complication or what-have-you... but him not being able to play -- purely in and of itself -- I am happy about. He's got no sympathy from me -- nor do I think he would expect anyone except his followers & family members to, given everything. To only not play 2 games after involved with a crime AND not telling your coaches about it until AFTER 2 games into football season? Oooh. Not good. No sympathy for him not being able to play (in and of itself).

It ends a college career that should have ended anyway. Enos and the justice system were enablers. God stepped in and stopped the enabling.

Trust me, Rawls will be a better person for this.

This is huge.

I'm assuming it happened during the Buffalo game, in which place the Chips are back to their below-average selves they were this season when he wasn't playing.

Although I do like seeing teams win fair and square, as good as they can be.

Some times bad things happen to bad people. Its not like anyone here is responsible and its not like this board is doing WMU proud most days so I don't see why we need to feign indignation at Dip or anyone else. At least it will mercifully end his Rawls shtick.

Yeah, I'm a bad person, and one time I fell into this rotten mound of tuna fish for three years running until I finally dumped her.

Who am I kidding....she dumped me.

She actually did go to CMU. And she was quite dumb.

I know for us it does, but for the few CMU fans that come to visit here I just want it out there to remind them. She had no business getting a college degree from anywhere.
