Or maybe not. Do either of these teams play defense or special team defense.

Looks like UNT came to play today. Touchdown just took the lead 21-14.

UNT has played pretty well. But I don't understand why UNT keeps playing McNulty at QB? Pardon me, but he's terrible. Somebody needs to introduce that kid to the concept of throwing the ball away instead of taking a sack. Geez.....

Good god! UNT sucks. A fumble then a pick 6. Great half time adjustments.

Turn overs! Reminds me of UTSA. I hope we play solid today.

Mac prefers a bus driver, no turnover guy...McNulty has been that guy. Damon Williams was making too many freshman mistakes, so mac pulls him for mcnulty. Mcnukty is not the future qb for north texas...would be nice if he let Williams learn through his mistaked

It appears the mean green made adjustments at half time.

The Rice Marching Owl Band did wonder aloud during the halftime show why the school chose UNT for the name, but KNTU for the campus radio station.

Seriously, the Mean Green came to play and brought more visiting fans than I saw in 30 years of SMU versus Rice. I sense another rivalry beginning.

Just got back home from Houston. Rice has a great campus. It was very nice to get back down there and see my family. I only wish North Texas could have played a better second half. My brother and I had a nice spat over an overturned intentional grounding flag on UNT, but other than that, the rest of the Rice fans were very pleasant and gracious hosts. Houston was a great place when I was young. From what I saw this weekend, most of the city has become an eyesore. Rice is the absolutely the nicest part of the city. I too was happy with the Mean Green turnout yesterday. I wonder how many more fans we would have had if we were playing better? I believe this game can and will become an important annual rivalry in C-USA West. It will be interesting to see what the T.V. rating in Houston and Dallas look like. Best of luck with the rest of your season.
