We are loading up the car for the 3+ hour trip to Kalamazoo. My wife is battling some ailment, but is being a trooper. Got tickes (sec D, row 5....should be good). And fired up to hear "I got a gal in Kalamazoo" (always gives me great feeling), and our alma mater. This season has been a lot of fun, and I can't remember having thus much excitement for homecoming. This isn't best team we have had, but it may be the foundation for being the best. And I'm fired up. Hope my bubble not burst. Lol.

I hated out offensive play calling last year. But this year is about as 180 as you can get. Don't take it for granted! The Lions-Saints game was BORING compared to our game last week!!

Just played "Gal" for the first time in a year with the BMB. feels good, man.

Safe travels - and enjoy the game. We'll be there very soon ourselves.

It's shaping up to be a great homecoming in Kalamazoo.

Yep hope you all who are there enjoy it and appreciate it. I sure miss gamedays in Kalamazoo. Can't wait till I can make it happen again.

I'm a little bummed we couldn't get back for the weekend, but life happens. I'll be watching and appreciating, thanks for sharing.

As a side note -- I ended up rolling my eyes at that song. They play it Every Darn Time as the song they'd play! I could see them playing it once on the road, once at home every year, but IMO, they ride on it too much.

Kind of like when I'd hang out at Bourbon Street, they'd play "Welcome to Miami" (by Will Smith) over and over again at this one point during the NCAA tourney. It was great at first because Miami-OH was sweet in the tournament behind Wally Szczerbiak -- but it ended up being like "Okay guys, you're riding off a pre-made song a bit too much... am I in Oxford, OH?".

Not a chance. There SHOULD be, but there wont. With UofM/MSU at 3:30 people will stay home for that unfortunately.

Drew said that as of yesterday they had sold about 12k....plus 7k reserved for students. So you might have an "announced" crowd around 25k. But I doubt that will be the actual number. Especially after halftime.

Regardless, I am here and looking forward to a big Bronco win.

I wanted to get a shot of the flyover, but they kind of flew over the parking lot south of the stadium instead of over the stadium. I just got a short glimpse of a couple wings but no photo.

I posted a few shot in the game thread as well.

Regardless of the official attendance count, it was definitely one of the better crowds I've seen at Waldo in some time. Heck of an afternoon for a football game and a heck of a performance by our Broncos.

My face is sun and wind burnt. Beautiful day. Beautiful crowd. (kind of boring end of the game, but that's good too).

BEAUTIFUL tailgating in lot 43. It was like being at a nice campground in the middle of a tree stand. amazing fall colors, leaves on the ground. great people and food. Someone made the most amazing WMU cookies ever.

It really was one of the nicest game days I can recall in terms of both the weather and game day atmosphere, as well as the on field performance. There is just a general excitement I think. What a fun season. Starting with low expectations, but getting better by the week.

I hate the fact that we have a bye in a couple weeks. We seem to staying relatively healthy. I would rather keep on rolling.

I was surprised to see the official attendance. Except for the end zones, I was really full.

To me it was more packed than on comm. night! Which was like 23k, I think there had to be 25k at least.
