Ugh. Ohio.
I'm in Ohio at the moment ... and I'd just like to say: F*** every single TV channel. Five minutes of TV, then 3 minutes of political assault containing 0 minutes of truth, relevancy to the issues, or even a sensible perspective.

RE: Ugh. Ohio.
Thank both parties for that. They are both running campaign ads that are false and misleading. Same is going with the Kentucky races that are on 700WLW right now. Both parties suck.

Strange… Ohio doesn't have a Senate race this year, the Governor's race is locked up for Kasich, and none of the congressional seats are competitive…

There are still other races, such as the Ohio state treasurer and the in state legislature.

Also depends on region. The Cincy area will get Kentucky commercials, same goes for Toledo and Michigan.

You are fortunate not to have seen Georgia's ads for the Senate and Governor.

Kasich was thicker than sand gnats on the Miami-VT commercials.

I've been trying to avoid TV here in Georgia. Nunn and Perdue run ads during every commercial break, with some Deal & Carter thrown in.

Exactly.

I don't think political ads will ever simply "Go Away", but the return-on-investment is rapidly diminishing with each election cycle.

The Georgia ads are absolutely awful this year. I watch WSB in the mornings for the weather and traffic while getting ready for work. EVERY SINGLE BREAK there's an ad. Can't wait til this crap is over.

RE: Ugh. Ohio.
You could be putting up with the Democrat commercials from Illinois. They're ripping on MIke Bost OVER and OVER and OVER because he was getting mad in the Illinois state senate (I think). They just show him yelling and tossing papers. But they never say who made the ad (i can never read the print at the bottom of the ads) and who they're for.

If I were an Illinois voter, I might just vote FOR Bost just to see him get mad on the floor (ala Alan Greyson).

Gotta run up the score for the 2016 presidential race.

It can't be worse than NC. I honestly wish both Hagan and Tillis would disappear of the face of the planet.
