EPA Chief Insists: “People Overwhelmingly Consider Climate Change a Problem”…
[Image: 2ug2jag.jpg]

Somebody needs to inform this idiot that only 24% of the American people consider climate change a real problem.

Quote:Recent polls put climate change low on the list of Americans’ pressing concerns, but that’s not how EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy sees it:

“From all the recent public opinion work out there on climate change, what stands out to me is this: First, people overwhelmingly consider climate change a problem, and they want action. And second, what’s even more impressive, is the overwhelming support specifically for EPA action to curb carbon pollution from power plants.”

McCarthy spoke Friday at a Conference on Energy and the Environment at Georgetown University. [...]

Likewise, a Gallup poll in March 2014 found that only 24 percent of Americans worried a great deal about climate change. In that poll, both “climate change” and “quality of the environment” were near the bottom of a list of 15 issues Gallup asked Americans to rate. Only “race relations” ranked lower than those two issues in Gallup’s March 6-9 survey.

Mr. McCarthy might want to his wagon to the CDC's investment to study why lesbians are fatter that the general population. Who knew carpet had so many calories?

"The people" are only regurgitating the side of the story that they get from the MSM. If you were to ask this same group to which he is referring the basics of the argument about global warming, I'd guarantee that over 70% of them could not string together two coherent sentences on the topic.

Thought this administration was going to put scientific evidence above politics.

Guess they're caught lying again.

No matter what people think about global warming, they think other things are more important.

Ill repeat myself again. Stop trying to use global warming or climate change to make your case for policy. It is weak sauce. Clean air however is an issue that almost everyone can get on board with and would accomplish the same goal.

Arrogant meddler just trying to justify her it's* job.

*I say "it's" for two reasons. 1) So as not to offend those who are offended by gender specificity, and 2) I'm not entirely sure what that is.

Why does every Obama appointee look like Rachel Maddow?
