Week night games attendance
Watched the kickoff and first ECU drive....saw a good number of empty seats..MAC isn't the only conf with attendance issues at weeknight TV games
ECU ranked in top 20..exciting offense....yet not a sellout

East Carolina attendance last night 40,152.
Weekday game didn't seem to hurt them much. And UCONN is
no great attraction anymore.

That's pretty good attendance. I wonder if it was as cold as BSU or WMU games last year, what their attendance would be.

They average 46-47k per game for a school from the AAC so I am sure that they would be okay...

For football attendance, it kind of is. People still work Friday so they have to get from there to Huskie stadium - if the game starts at 6 pm, good luck with that.

Was attendance actual butts in the seats or phantom attendance numbers like some MAC schools provide? ie companies buying up tickets

RE: Week night games attendance
My point had nothing to do with total attendance but with filling the stadium regardless of capacity....Some Power 5 schools are concerned with attendance reductions particularly with students

Ps
I think a Sat afternoon game would have filled that stadium....
