For football attendance, it kind of is. People still work Friday so they have to get from there to Huskie stadium - if the game starts at 6 pm, good luck with that.

That is the one thing I wish the MAC commish would have tried to get with the new ESPN was either at least one Friday game on ESPN/espn 2 each year. Even a Thursday night game would have been good.

+1. And an October game. But that's not what MACtion is all about I guess. Too much other sports stuff going on in October and they like having something on Tuesday or Wednesday, and the bigger conferences don't want that.

Buffalo played a friday home game on ESPN this year.

Weren't they playing Baylor? That would be the only reason.
