My point about the score is that the bowl selection committee folks won't look at our game tapes. They will just look at the score and perhaps be impressed that it was as close as it was. Of course, it will only matter if UAB wins enough games to be bowl eligible in the first place. then the game could have a positive effect on how UAB is perceived by them, especially if MSU wins out. The better they look nationally, the better UAB will look at that distance if we do our part.

What's going to help us this year is our attendance, and the fact that we have traveled fairly well when compared to other teams in our conference.
