Fox's Kimberly Guilfoyle, say young women shouldn't vote.
They fought against suffrage for women all the way up until 1919 and there are still some conservatives agitating against women having the franchise. Just this week, a Fox News celebrity named Kimberly Guilfoyle announced that young women shouldn’t vote because “they don’t get it.” That opinion obviously stems from the fact that young single women overwhelmingly vote for Democrats. (This would be in contrast to many of Fox’s conservative elderly audience who have been found in academic studies to be the most uninformed people in the nation.)

RE: Fox's Kimberly Guilfoyle, say young women shouldn't vote.
I do laugh because it seems that every person that links Fox News articles on my facebook timeline is 55 and up, and I've always felt to be a little naïve. I remember I convinced one of them at one point that I was a card carrying member of the American Socialist Party and that my deepest dream was to make America a Socialist country.
Anyone with 5 seconds of checking my made up party platforms online would have figured out I was lying, especially when I started suggesting that Obama was hired by the Russian Government to take control of America and ruin the country. But this one bought every word hook, line, and sinker.
That being said, the MSNBC Liberal crowd is just as bad.

There is nothing more amusing than to go on conservative websites and read the comments below.
You'd think that the red tide is upon us.

I love when they link stories about Obama that turn out to be proven hoaxes. All the crazies come out and scream "I knew it!"
The last one I saw, and I wished I had saved it was that the Ebola Virus is an elaborate ruse of the Obama administration to get people to support Obama Care.

Young, single women vote foolishly, but that's no reason to bar them from voting.
They tend to vote in favor of a nanny state, to take care if them.

Are you so damned ill-informed that you couldn't do a simple Wiki reading of women's suffrage in the USA?
Quote:which Democratic Senators opposed to the amendment filibustered to prevent a roll call until their absent Senators could be protected by pairs. The Ayes included 36 (82%) Republicans and 20 (54%) Democrats. The Nays comprised 8 (18%) Republicans and 17 (46%) Democrats. The Nineteenth Amendment, which prohibited state or federal sex-based restrictions on voting, was ratified by sufficient states in 1920.[110]
Democrats, oh so often on the wrong side of history.
Today’s GOP, for all its maddening problems, is directly descended from the party that freed the slaves, promoted and passed women's suffrage, and brought about a shot at freedom for hundreds of millions in the Eastern Bloc.
Not a bad track record when compared to the Democratic Party.

RE: Fox's Kimberly Guilfoyle, say young women shouldn't vote.
LOL
Oh the irony of the OP
I was watching the Five when she said this the other day.
It was said in total gist of how ill informed single women voters and jurors are. The context wasn't even voting but was jury duty. Yet its now on the front page of Bing and some other sites like she was serious advocating taking away their voting rights.
The media is beyond repair at this point. They are a total joke from all sides.

What does that matter? You still posted a link to it and highlighted those exact words. So you were either totally ignorant of history or just lying.
You have no credibility here because your link is a blatant lie on every level.
The original source of the false headline is Media Matters. (stunning)
As always, the far left blogs and sites just ran with the false headline without a care in the world.
They knew the brainwashed far left zealots like you would lap it up.

Yes, you're very good at dive bombing.
She's a lawyer and what she said was that as a lawyer, many times lawyers don't want those kind of jurors because they lack knowledge. She never said anything about them voting. It was about jury selection. The lib rags ran with it for a hit piece, as usual.
And yes, I'm aware conservatives do the same. I, however, don't lower myself to their level to spread their misinformation and participate in their character assassinations.

Exactly. it's not a strong suite for LS who pushes a bull cr*p talking point.
1920 presidential election
19th amendment ratification.
what LS is doing is as low as it gets. if you are gonna say "you couldn't do a simple Wiki reading" and post a talking point with such a big and well known * attached to it, and then forget to bring up that key detail. either you are intentionally trying to mislead or you actually do not have a clue about what is a very basic concept of american political history.
yes the Ds were opposed and the Rs were in favor, but this was in an era where the 1920s democrats had the political base of todays republicans and the 1920s republicans had the political base of todays democrats.
