A "turnaround" that would be complete in one fell swoop with a signature $EC road win. 03-wink

I don't know if I'd go that far. A win would be nice, but I'd rather the turnaround be completed by appearing in the conference championship game.

Is it an either/or then? I wasn't aware of those parameters.

A "turnaround" is when he's bona fide to all comers. ["He" in the royal sense of the word; King and Country/Coach and team] I happen to think he is already, but it's technically when all doubt has been removed to the skeptics.

I'll take whichever comes first, but 'round these parts an $EC road win is plenty good 'nuff.

It's pretty safe to say we are out of the conference championship discussion now. We could get in it again, but it's going to take some major upsets.

I agree.

We trying to hang on for that bowl now. Hold on tight Blazers!

An Arkansas upset win is as good as any other.

RE: Clark leading UAB turnaround
When the TV "talking heads" discuss a team, the "Who did they play?" question always can come up. Any SEC team looks good to such folks who are usually totally ignorant of the circumstances UAB has endured. They are usually ready to dismiss any and all Sun Belt and/or C-USA teams as irrelevant to their mindset.

UAB for its part, can only play out their schedule as best they can and hope it is good enough to get into a bowl game some place. That objective is still there today (as we enter November for our next C-USA game) which shows how well UAB has improved its game. November has not been our time of hope in past seasons.

I was just saying for a turnaround to be complete.

It's not about defining what a turnaround is (we've no doubt made a turnaround already), but when is it complete.

That kind of "turnaround" is to a country we've never been.
